We test all mica powders in cold process soap and sell only soap stable micas. They are very concentrated and will hold their color in high pH very well. We specialize in micas for soap making, but our cosmetic colors can also be used in resin, arts, and various crafts. Many people even paint with our micas!
Our premium mica powders are of the highest quality. We offer many custom blends and exclusive colors that can't be found anywhere else. A great example is our very popular Really Red!, the only true red for cold process soap.
All of our sample sizes come in jars for less mess. We sell micas in jars and bags. You can buy a jar and then refill with a bag, creating less impact on the environment.
You will see our colors tested in cold process on each product page. You may see all colors at once using our cold process soap gallery. This is how the mica will look in soap with the recommended use rate. You may also use our color blender to see how different colors will look blended together. You can make almost any color under the sun with only a few colors!
To use mica in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80. This will help disperse the color and prevent a powder ring around the tub.
