I originally purchased this mica, along with a bit of NS's "Orange Red" neon pigment, to create the new orange-based red color. I already have NS's "Queen of Hearts" mica, which is needed to create this beautiful shade, so I was excited to try it out in CP! I wasn't prepared for how thrilled I'd be with just this color alone though! I have a mica called "Crimson Red Wine" from a different supplier that I really love, but the cost has skyrocketed to a price I can't afford anymore. Because of that, and despite my jar getting low, I wasn't planning on replacing it. To my eyes, this is that exact gorgeous shade of rich, sultry, burgundy-red, but at a fantastic price! I'm SO HAPPY I know where to find this stunning mica, and keep it in my collection for good now! The scarlet sparkle of this color is positively regal, and it looks breathtaking in both clear MP base & CP! It's the perfect shade for autumnal themes and holiday themes as well, but it's a color I'll use year-round in various projects too! It's a downright sexy shade of red, and I used it right away in a fall-inspired batch of CP! It looks amazing paired with other autumnal colors, and painting a touch of gold mica on top of MP leaf embeds made with this mica turned out positively rich looking! I'm so excited to try it in the red-trio blend next, but as for a color in & of itself, this is a jaw-dropping mica that I'm so excited to be able to always keep on hand now!
