Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of oils.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

As with most dark purples, this color can be a bit tricky in cold process soaps. At times you may get a rich amethyst color, and other times it may turn smoky gray. We suggest testing this in your recipe in making CP soap to see how it works for you. This color is stunning in melt and pour soap!

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Interesting color!

Interesting deep purple that almost looks black but isn't. I added this to some of my lighter purples to give them a more "mysterious look"

Perfect for my Blackberry scented soap!

This was just the right color to go along with my Blackberry & Magnolia scent soap. This is a very versatile color because you can make it light or dark by adjusting how much you use.

Good for...Blackberries!

I didn't exactly go out on a limb here. I used this to color my M&P blackberries. It looked great! So realistic!
