AWESOME!These new Enigma micas are THE BEST!!! I live in FL, and after reading up on micro-plastics being harmful to our oceans & marine life, I decided to make the switch to non-plastic-based "bling" to dust atop my CP loaves. I purchased all 3 Engima micas (red, gold & blue), and they exceeded my expectations! - Amber
Red Enigma Mica is a mysterious mica with underlying flashes of red. At first glance this glitter will appear plain white, but when in different angles of light you will see that red! This is an interference mica, meaning it turns color when the light hits the sparkle.
This mica will not show in cold process. It is best used in melt and pour or dusting the tops of soaps to give a special shine. It is cosmetic grade and safe for lips and eyes. It would be perfect in lip gloss or eye shadow!
All of the enigma micas are fire!! And I like them better than the glitters, which I also do love. I used this red enigma mica on my first attempt of making a loaf watermelon cold process soap. I wanted the top of my watermelon soap to look shiny and this did the job. Plus every mica color used in my watermelon soap is from Nurture Soap. I mixed "REALLY RED, FLUORESCENT NEON PINK with titanium dioxide to achieve that pinkish color on my soap. Then I used SAVAGE GARDEN & NEW LEAF for the botton part of my watermelon soap
THANKS NURTURE SOAP!!
Maybe I don't see the undertones of the blue, but it looks like plain glitter. I will try it again against a contrasting color of bath bomb to see if I can see the undertones.

I purchased all 3 Engima micas (red, gold & blue), and they exceeded my expectations! They're so sparkly & fine that a little dusting on top of CP soap creates a beautiful touch of shimmer, with glimpses of red & fushia tones that catch the light magnificently! Adding more creates a stunning metallic-like sheen imbued with an array of vibrant red hues! In MP embeds, this mica is positively jaw-dropping! With various uses, these Engima micas will stay in my collection permanently! I was sad to see the plastic-based glitters being discontinued (I've purchased those previously & loved every single one), but after reading about ocean pollutants, I wholeheartedly applaud Nurture Soap for blazing the trail in carrying only eco-friendly glitters & mica colorants! It's inspired me to do the same, and the plastic-based glitters I have on hand won't go to waste... My kids & I have been using them for various crafty projects & decorating items to display around our home! These Enigma micas have been such a beautiful alternative to plastic-based glitters, and I'm so excited to try more sparkly micas & eco-glitters in my soapy projects!
