Description

This peachy orange-pink mica reminds us of the brilliant color of a coral reef! It is teeming with a bright punch of the elusive coral color for soap. True coral color is so hard to find! Pairing Coral Reef mica with a complimentary color like Siren's Song makes this color sing!

INCI: Mica (CI 77019), titanium dioxide (CI 77891), iron oxide (CI 77491)
Micron Size: 10-60

Cosmetic use:
• Eyes
• Lips
• Bath Bombs
• External Use

Ideal for:
• Soap
• Resin
• Crafts
• Lotion
• Butters
• Wax Melts
• Nail Polish

Prop 65: Titanium dioxide (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size) is on the Proposition 65 list because it can cause cancer. Exposure to titanium dioxide may increase the risk of cancer. Once incorporated into a liquid or solid base it is no longer airborne and falls off the Prop 65 list.

• Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
• Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of oils.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

We recommend this color to be used at 2 tsp. per pound of oils and at low temperatures in cold process soap. If used at higher temps, the color may lose some of its orange beauty! To maintain the very best coral color, lower temps will be your friend using this mica!

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

So pretty with hints of sparkle

I’m obsessed with Coral and melon colors, this has the most subtle sparkle. I love this in my scrub but cannot wait to see the results in lip balm!

More a cantaloupe red

Lighter than I expected. I used it in my nature-inspired arches soap and wasn't as red as I expected. Will try in larger amounts next time. Still love how the color turned out.
Order from the top down: brick dust, blue vibrance, Sahara gold, coral reef, mocha brown, sky blue, and repeat.

Beautiful POP of color!

This is a beautiful coral - it turns MP soap into a dreamy coral red color. It's hard to describe unless you are lucky enough to see it. I will be using this in all my products! The tints that are possible with this soap rock the Casbaugh!
