Sahara Gold Mica is medium shimmer true gold with yellow undertones for cold process, hot process, and melt and pour soaps. Used in cold process, it will create a stunning gold that will not morph or fade. It is simply a gorgeous, true gold!
In preparation for my Christmas soap making marathon I purchased a handful of different gold micas and glitters from Nurture Soap, and Sahara Gold was among them. I used it with Alpine Green and My Red Obsession and I thought it worked out very well. Looking forward to using it again in another soaping project.

I combined this gold with really red and alpine green! Wonderful combo!
The Perfect Gold!
I needed a nice warm gold and this is LITERALLY perfect. If you want a metallic gold, this is the one! When you use it in soaps it's more pale, but as a paint/topper shade it is beautiful bold and metallic.
Sahara Gold is PERFECT!
I have NS's "Maya Gold", "Rapunzel Gold" & "Shimmer Gold" micas & love them all... Each play the perfect role in various soapy projects (plus "Gold Dust" Enviroglitter... Love that beauty too!), but I was looking for a slightly more matte gold... Something that captured a true honey-yellow gold, with just a touch of metallic shimmer, but not quite as sparkly as say, "Shimmer Gold" (that one's got sparkle for days!!). Sahara Gold fits the bill PERFECTLY! It arrived just in time for a honey-lime CP soap I made, and was the perfect golden-honey accompaniment to "Enchantment" mica, used for my lime portion! True & stunning in CP, I couldn't have "fished my wish" MORE with this beautiful gold mica! The smaller micron size makes it perfect for mica lines too, where my layers will stay together & the mica line itself will show through brilliantly! Its lighter touch of shimmer will make this mica perfect for drizzling, as well as incorporating into clear MP base for embeds too! Yet another gorgeous gold from Nurture that will provide a plethora of uses for me! I'm thrilled with this mica!
This is a very nice pale gold. I mix it with Maya Gold to make it more vibrant and pigmented. Great for everything.
