Really Red! is RED. It is bright red. This is a Nurture Soap custom color created by the owner in her quest for a true red that could be used in cold process soap.

UPDATE! We have a fantastic new red!!! Trial by Fire Red Mica doesn't migrate and looks great in soaps. Really Red! may migrate and bleed. For best results in soap, we highly recommend using Trial by Fire instead.

Because this is a Nurture Soap custom color, we do not provide CoA information. Please take this into account if you need a safety assessment performed for your soap (i.e. European Union).

• Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
• Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of oils.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

This color can migrate and bleed! Please be aware of this before using. Really Red! is best when used against colors that are darker in soap. If used against white, the white will turn pink!

They must have changed this formula

I ruined a 120 tube lipstick batch as the Really Red went to a dark wine color vs the beautiful red I had before reordering it. Nothing changed in my recipe just the new batch of Really Red.

This was reformulated many years ago. If you had purchased this prior to 2018 that was the old formula which had mica in it.

Really real red

I've been looking for a long time for red, only to get pale, almost red, colorant. But when this said red they really meant RED! Wont go anywhere else. Im eagar to try their other colors
