Our low sweat white melt and pour soap base is made to mimic cold process soap in look and feel. This MP base will not bead or sweat in climates with high humidity like other bases can. This makes it perfect for embeds and easy to make soap loaves. This base is detergent free and made using the saponification process. It contains no SLS, SLSA, or other questionable additives.
Create fast and easy soap recipes with melt and pour. Just melt the base and add your favorite micas or pigments and fragrance oils. In addition, add herb powders or decorative botanicals for a more natural feel.

LOW SWEAT WHITE SOAP BASE
Love this base, it is perfect for my embeds. No sweating or stickiness. Recommend 100%
Good quality. Nice turnaround time
In branching out to embeds for the tops of piped-top loaves, I experimented with different bases: Nurture's & Crafter's Choice DF bases. The bases from NS have proved to be superior in EVERY way! My first observation was how they released from my molds. The bases here melt down beautifully, and very quickly & EASILY release from my molds. The CC bases took considerably longer to unmold, and always had a tacky feel to them, making it stick quite badly to my molds. I even completely ruined one my favorite plastic molds by putting a giant crack through it when trying to unmold embeds from it. I'd used that same mold MANY times with Nurture's MP bases, and NEVER had a problem unmolding. Secondly was the feel. With CC's DF bases, no matter what I did to try to avoid it, my embeds felt sticky/tacky to the touch, and even though the description stated "Low Sweat" (never said that on the label), there was A LOT of it. The embeds made with NS's bases don't feel tacky at all, and I've not had any problems with sweating. The final straw was when the CC base ruined a batch of soap! Half the embeds on that high-top loaf were made with this base. I ran out though, so the other half of my embeds were made with the CC base. Per usual, I loosely covered the soap when finished, and the next day- what a MESS!! The CC base COMPLETELY MELTED! It was EVERYWHERE & my soap was ruined! EVERY SINGLE EMBED made with NS's base was fine & perfect. That sealed the deal for me. I won't use ANY other base!
