Our Dragon's Blood fragrance oil is a perfect blend of patchouli, amber, incense, and vanilla intertwined with notes of citrus and light floral notes. It's not overly sweet like some dragon's blood fragrances we have tried. It's just right! Compare to Mad Oils® brand Dragon's Blood™
Tested 6/28/18 by Carrie H. in a recipe of 33% lye solution with 5% superfat at 75 degrees. Recipe is 35% olive, 35% organic and sustainable palm, 20% coconut, and 10% castor. Very fast acceleration! Almost soap on a stick. If using this fragrance in CP, be prepared to move very quickly. This is a great scent for other products like HP, MP, and bath bombs.
Tested Again 3/16/19 by Carrie T. (owner) in a recipe of 33% lye solution with 5% superfat at 70 degrees. Recipe is 40% olive, 30% coconut, 20% organic and sustainable palm, 5% sweet almond oil, and 5% castor. Slight acceleration but completely workable with this recipe. Dark brown discoloration.

I belong to a bunch of soap groups online and everyone said Dragon’s Blood was their best seller, so I figured I would give it a try. I usually do CP, but since this is marked Heavy Acceleration, I decided to do HP to avoid the acceleration. It is FANTASTIC! I sold out my first event, now I’m in a mad scramble to get more made for my next event around Christmas! I’m not normally a fan of Patchouli...but this is such a lovely mixture!
Made a small batch and it accelerated. Made big batch today and it riced. I love the scent but it just wasn’t at all happy with my recipe I guess. I soaped a bit cooler to help with the acceleration from the small batch but ricing was instantaneous. Of course it was a load of special order soap! Lol. Such is the soaping life. I will still use the fragrance but not for my cp soap.
Favorite scent ever
This is hands down my favorite scent I have ever purchased for both myself and my customers. Children and adults alike love it. I please never discontinue.
Dragon's Blood fragrance oi
This worked wonderful with my recipe. No acceleration at all. I am pleased with the results in my CP soap and smells amazing. Check out my YouTube video @ (Pixie Suds) and see the entire process of both Dragon Blood and Dragon Moon fragrance oils.
A Little Acceleration But a Lot of Scent and Pretty Color
I soap a little hot so found that this accelerated just a tiny bit. I bought a sample first because I had a customer who wants a bigger order around Christmas. I got four different scents and tested all with the same soap batch divided four ways. This one came out a very nice ivory color. I use Titanium Dioxide in all my soaps so it could be a little darker without - but not much I would guess. Next time I'll cool my ingredients down a bit more so I can work in an "in the pot swirl". Out of the four other scents, the committee who decided unanimously loved this one and the "Mad About Mint" that Nurture carries. It also behaved well. Everyone felt like this soap would be welcomed by men or women and that it has a bit of "mystery" to it in that you cannot easily identify the top note. I bought a larger order and can't wait to use it. My house will smell amazing during the cure!
