Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Lemon drop

This color was like sunshine, I don't remember the recipe I used for my cp soap but this yellow stood out really bright, I paired it with other mica colors and wow, it was like that yellow in skittles candy? LOL!! I am purchasing more soon!

Perfect yellow, sometimes turns slightly orange in freshly poured soap but always comes back

I love this yellow because it is the brightest I have found. I have seen it take on an orange hue in the saponifying soap, but for me with my oils it always comes back to a strong true yellow that is brilliant. You can use other yellows for muted tones, but if you want a clear, strong yellow this one works well! Be aware that like many greens the hue you see in the high pH of fresh soap is something that goes away as the soap sets up.
