Prop 65: Titanium dioxide (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size) is on the Proposition 65 list because it can cause cancer. Exposure to titanium dioxide may increase the risk of cancer. Once incorporated into a liquid or solid base it is no longer airborne and falls off the Prop 65 list.

    Soap Use Notes

    • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
    • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of oils.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. ~

This can be used as an alternative to Titanium Dioxide. The samples shown in our pictures are typical use rates of 1 tsp. per pound which is not enough to significantly whiten soap.

To use as an alternative to titanium dioxide, Sugar Rush mica should be used at 3 tsp. per pound of oils. This will result in a much brighter white and there is no speckling as titanium dioxide can sometimes do.

    Love it!

I started using this Sugar Rush white to lighten my colors and it is fantastic! It lightens the color without taking away its luster like really matte whites do. It has just enough sparkle. NS Winter White is a great alternative to TD and this is fabulous to lighten colors.

I thought I would try this instead of using TD because I always get glycerin rivers no matter what I do. Well, it's just ok. I've made 3 different batches of soap and while it did lighten, it didn't do what I expected it to do. My last batch I used winter white with it, and I will know how it comes out tomorrow. Although the soap batter looked more creamy than white. If you are looking for an alternative for TD this isn't it.

    Tried it

I bought some to try but I like the winter white better. This does lighten the CP soap but the winter white lightens better.
