Yellow Iron Oxide is a great colorant for melt and pour and cold process soaps. A little goes a long way, so start with the minimum suggested amount and work your way up. If too much red oxide is used it can bleed onto a washcloth or create a mess in the shower. Before adding to CP, mix in a bit of oil first. Before adding to MP, mix in glycerin first. This item ships free to 48 states.
Safe for eyes, lips, and external use.
Nurture Soap tests colors in soaps, and sells colors for use in soaps. While we provide safety information for each product, we don't sell them for any other purpose than soap. Use in other products is at the discretion of the consumer.
Recommended use rate in cold and hot process soap is .5 tsp. per pound of oils. For melt and pour, the recommended use rate is .25 tsp. per pound of base.
