Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 3 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of oils.

This can be used as an alternative to Titanium Dioxide. The samples shown in our pictures are typical use rates of 1 tsp. per pound which is not enough to significantly whiten soap.

To use as an alternative to titanium dioxide, Winter White mica should be used at 3 tsp. per pound of oils. This will result in a much brighter white and there is no speckling as titanium dioxide can sometimes do.

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Great alternative for TD !

This is my 4th time repurchasing this mica , I love how it’s less of a hassle than TD and does not speed up trace , be sure to add in at least 3 teaspoons per ponds of oil for a vibrant white .
