Our mineral glitters are based on a synthetic mica that has a large particle size to be more glittery and bright.

Since our mineral glitters are based on synthetic fluorphlogopite (synthetic mica) they are a great choice for those who desire a responsibly sourced mineral powder that is not mined naturally. As child labor concerns rise, synthetic micas are becoming the preferred choice for cosmetics and soaps. Since these mica powders are lab created, they have superior clarity and shine compared to naturally mined micas.

Wild Violet can be used as a substitute for glitter in all types of soap and bath and body care products. It can be used to have a glitter effect on top of products and can also be used in cold process soaps to add shine and sparkle! It adds a dramatic effect like no other purple glitter we have ever tried. For maximum effect use in melt and pour soaps, but it works great in cold process, too!

Polysorbate 80 must be used when coloring bath bombs with our mineral glitters. This ingredient helps incorporate the color in bath bombs to prevent staining and will prevent a powder ring in the bathtub.
