There are differences in titanium dioxide from different sources. Our Titanium dioxide is 99.9% pure and food grade. Because of the superior quality, it performs better than any other TD we have tried.
Use a mini mixer to blend into a thick whipped cream consistency. If you don't have a mini mixer, stir the titanium dioxide with water (enough to completely disperse it) and mix well. TD must be mixed very well before adding to your soap to prevent speckling
To avoid glycerin rivers: Soap with a water discount and do not overheat your soaps! Soaps with full water are more prone to glycerin rivers than soaps made with less water. We prefer a 33% lye concentration.
I love how my soap looks now that I have used this Titanium Dioxide! I've always used the actual soap color for white in the past, but this titanium dioxide makes them look so much more beautiful and professional! Everything turned out great!
This was my 1st time working with titanium dioxide, as I am a new super. I am just now learning the effects of titanium dioxide and how it works in both cold process and in melt and pour. So far so good but I have yet to make a batch of cold process which I plan on doing this week.
Best TiDO available
The only titanium dioxide I use for Cold Process soapmaking. Dissolves instantly in water and gives a nice bright white to your soaps every time. Good coverage for yellow or greenish tinged oils. Buy a big container! It’s a great to use alone, but also to mix with other colours to lighten them.
