    Testing Notes

    New Lotion-Safe Formula: Tested 3/27/2020 with the Nurture Soap Making Blend in a 33% lye solution with 5% superfat at 76 degrees. Soaped wonderfully. No acceleration and perfect pour. Turned very light yellow immediately, but not enough it will affect color choices.

    Old Formula: Tested 6/27/18 in a recipe of 33% lye solution with 5% superfat at 80 degrees. Recipe is 35% olive, 35% organic and sustainable palm, 20% coconut, and 10% castor. No acceleration. Soaped perfectly. Nice strong true orange scent.

    Satsuma Orange did not disappoint! Used in CP soap. Soaped amazingly! No acceleration, no ricing no discoloration, scent retention is strong and absolutely luscious! The fragrance is like walking through an orange grove and picking a perfectly ripe orange off of a tree! Outstanding! Will not bother looking for a straight up orange scent anywhere else!

    Delightful Orange!

    I have been searching for a true orange scent for years. This is better than the Orange Essential 5x. I am a cold process soaper and there was no acceleration ( use a 25% water discount). It has been curing for about 3 weeks and still holding the fragrance. Also, no discoloration. So far, I am more than pleased with this new fragrance.

    Very strong citrus (orange/tangerine) scent. I mix with another FO for a custom blend that my male customers love. Stays put in CP soap and lovely in balms and other products. This will be a staple in my FO collection.

    Satsuma Orange Fragrance Oil

    This fragrance smells lovely, it truly smells like a fresh orange . I love this smell better than Orange Essential Oil, which I usually use for making bath bombs. I am looking forward to making sugar scrubs, and hand soap with this. I can't wait. If you love fresh oranges this is a scent for you!

    Stays, doesn't fade

    I'm using this instead of a pure Orange EO in HP soap. It sticks and mixes well with other citrus scents.
