Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

This yellow may change orange during saponification and back to yellow within 24-48 hours.

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Worked very well in my lemon soap

I made lemon cold process soap using a little bit of this mica (a little goes a long way). This gave the soap a soft natural lemon yellow color. Interestingly when I added the color to the soap batter, it turned into a vibrant carrot-orange color. But after 48 hours the soap bars had reverted back to yellow. I'll definitely use this again for other lemon soap projects.

Soft color. Lovely in Lemon Soap

I only had to use a little bit of this mica to give my lemon soap a lovely & natural color. I mixed the mica into the "Awaken" fragrance oil and added it to my cold process batter at trace. Still waiting for the CP soap to cure and the color & fragrance are very nice.

Beautiful

This is beautiful on its own but I bought it to mix with another yellow. I used the NS handy dandy mica mixer and it came out beautiful

A very pretty pale yellow

the color morph on this is entertaining at least. it goes a full Mac and Cheese color, and the next day, back the to beautiful pale yellow!
