Red iron oxide is a very strong red colorant for soaps. It is deep red with a slight orange undertone, making it a brick red color.
Using Red Oxide:
Add to oils and then add to soap. Mix well to prevent speckling or streaks in soaps.
Red oxide can bleed onto a washcloth, although it should not stain. Less is more when it comes to this color.
If using in melt and pour soaps, add to a bit of glycerin then add this mix to your soap base.
