The Queen turned crimson with fury, and, after glaring at her for a moment like a wild beast, began screaming “Off with her head! Off with—”
“Nonsense!” said Alice, very loudly and decidedly, and the Queen was silent."
The difference between the Queen of Hearts in Alice in Wonderland and this bright and bold color is that she will never stay silent. She speaks boldly and loudly with her bright pink tones and deep red hues.
CP: Mix 1 part color with 1 part oil then add to soap.
MP: Mix mica in 91% rubbing alcohol then add to soap base.
HP: Add micas toward the end of the cook to retain the most color.
Avoid green and yellow oils. The whiter the base, the brighter the color! Gelling soap makes colors pop. Read our FAQ section for more info on using colors.
Bath Bombs (if safe for use): Use polysorbate 80 when using mica to color bath bombs. This will help disperse the color and prevent a powder ring around the tub.
I'm so totally the type who will annoyingly come back & leave ANOTHER, updated review for a FO or mica once in application, as every so often, a product comes my way that MUST be raved about before I've even put it to use! That's this mica for me! I couldn't resist leaving a "preliminary review" because this mica had me doing a total happy dance! I have a Crepe Myrtle in my yard in full, glorious bloom, that has been taunting me for weeks! Every time I walk out my front door, I'm mesmerized by those rich, vibrant, red-pink blooms, and all I've been thinking is, "I HAVE to find this precise color in a mica!". Then I found "Queen of Hearts"! The moment it arrived, I ran outside & compared this BEAUTIFUL color next to my Crepe Myrtle & literally squealed with happiness!! IT'S THE EXACT SHADE OF THOSE TAUNTING & STUNNING BLOOMS!!! I can't wait to use this gorgeous color in my soaps, and can't express my gratitude to Nurture Soap enough for outstanding product descriptions & accurate depictions of their mica colors on their website! Not everyone's sceen resolutions are exactly the same, and it's hard to convey the color you're seeing with your eyes with 100% precision in a picture. Nurture realizes these challenges & does an exceptional job of portraying their colors with the absolute best accuracy so that people who are looking for a specific shade can come to the website, see a mica listing and go, "Yup! That's the one!". "Queen of Hearts" mica was definitely "the one" for me, and I have no doubts it'll look just as stunningly accurate in my soaps as it does in the jar (well, I bought it in the bag, but I have reusable jars I transfer my micas to)! Either way, I'm sure I won't be able to resist coming back & updating my review once I've put this striking color to use! Thank you Nurture for carrying this AMAZING color so that I'm no longer taunted by my Crepe Myrtle each time I walk out my front door!
I’m so happy with my choices, so far what I’ve ordered I love them all
Beautiful bright color. Works great in my CP soap
This is a wonderful mica and I love it very much. Is very bright and is perfect to used as a drizzle.
