Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

Working with any orange can be tricky with soaps. For best result with this and any orange mica, soap cool and don't let your soaps get too hot. Heat seems to have a negative effect on orange making fade or peach in color. Orange micas also need a slightly higher usage rate than other colors. For best results use 2 teaspoons per pound of oils, or even more to achieve the depth of color you like.

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Nice orange

I just wanted a normal orange color I could use for fall or just anything. My others are too neon

Good

I love that it stays true to color in CP, however, it's too light for my taste.

Very Nice Color

I really like the way this color came out. This was my very first batch of cold process soap and I was going to use this design for the fragrance Melon Ball from another supplier but I completely forgot to add the fragrance! I used this color at a rate of 2 tsps per pound of oils.

Light orange

I found I had to use a lot of this color to achieve the color I want. Makes a very nice light orange color, a bit on the yellow side as you can see on the lid to the jar. Has a good amount of shimmer to it! Orange Vibrance swirled with a color I self blended in a sugar lip scrub.
