Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of oils.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

Oleander is the softest blush of pink. This color WILL NOT WORK in any bases that are not very white. Any red or yellow tint from oils will completely wash out this color. Do not add titanium dioxide to whiten your base then use this color. The white from the TD will make it even more pastel.

To get the most from this delicate pink, use in clear melt & pour.

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Had to restock!

This is the perfect pink in CP to make a fair skin color. I had a sample bag and used it last year for my Santa Claus soap and had to buy some more for this year.
The second picture is from my Cirilla bar and even with the discoloration of the fo that I used the pink gave me a perfect skin tone!

Great for bath bombs!

I have heard multiple negative reviews about this mica in CP soaps but in my bath bombs they were absolutely perfect! Probably my favorite pink.

Gorgeous subtle color

This is one of my favorite micas, and I’m not even generally speaking a fan of pastel colors or pink. I’ve used this in a cp base that wasn’t completely white and achieved a gorgeous light rose gold (2nd circle from the outside of polka dots in the soap below). In a true white soap base, the color really pops and is stunning. It’s also a great choice for blending and creating a near neutral subtle contrasting shade.
