Description

Mocha Brown mica is a deep, rich brown with silver undertones.

INCI: Mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxide
Micron Size: 10-60

Cosmetic use:
• Eyes
• Lips
• Bath Bombs
• External Use

Ideal for:
• Soap
• Resin
• Crafts
• Lotion
• Butters
• Wax Melts
• Nail Polish

Prop 65: Titanium dioxide (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size) is on the Proposition 65 list because it can cause cancer. Exposure to titanium dioxide may increase the risk of cancer. Once incorporated into a liquid or solid base it is no longer airborne and falls off the Prop 65 list.

• Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
• Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of oils.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

So good

Got this as a sample in my last order and I love it. It's so rich. Will definitely start using this as an anchor for vanillin brown soaps. Planning a new men's soap and will use this to do a swirl.

Lighter than the pic.

The brown here was lighter than expected. I had magic mushroom turn a darker brown than this. Still a great brown to have.

My go-to brown

This has quickly become my favorite brown mica. I use it swirled into most of my more masculine soaps and as an anchor color when using a fragrance oil I know is going to discolor.
