Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

This brown can turn a bit pinkish in soap due to its strong red tones.

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Beautifully rich

Love this brown. I used this to make some little bees for my oatmeal milk and honey soap.

Great to use with Pinks

I didn't think I was going to love this color, but I actually do love it. I mixed it with TD to make a lighter brown for a pink camo bar and it turned out perfectly. I'm looking forward to using this mica for more soap projects.

Warm Brown

This mica works great in CP soap but is a very warm brown that I didn’t quite expect but still a brown nonetheless!

Great Lighter Brown

Love it! You can see the color in the piping on my gingerbread house soap.

Lovely muted brown

I tested this mica in two of my bases (one is slightly yellow because of the butters I use), and I like it very much. It mixes easily, and can be darkened with a touch of charcoal if you so desire. By itself, it's a nice muted brown.
