When I first opened the jar of mica, I was a little concerned that it wasn't going to be the color I was looking for, but when mixed with cold process soap, it turns to a gorgeous milk chocolate color!
I hope it's ok to update, but since having the opportunity to use this mica, first in MP & now in CP, I am thoroughly in awe of it! Depending on application, It's as versatile as the new "High Society" mica is, in that you can achieve such a beautiful range of colors with it (it's like having multiple colors in one)! This mica wow'd me in MP, and has continued to do so in CP! In CP it's the most beautiful, warm, rich shade of reddish-brown, which blows my mind because in MP, it shines with glimmers & glimpses of teal! No matter how I use it, I am continuously impressed with this gorgeous mica!! With Autumn coming up, I have a feeling I'll be putting this beauty in everything! 5 stars wasn't enough, so I had to come back & give it 5 more LOL!
The pics for this mica simply don't do it enough justice! You really have to see it to believe it, but this is like no shade of brown I've ever seen before! By the looks of it in the jar, it's a beautiful earthy-brown, but get it in clear MP & watch it become magical! In MP base, It's incredible! It developes this absolutely gorgeous teal-green/pearly sheen to it, and those glimpses are only caught in the light, so that when you look at it from different angles, it creates this sort of holographic effect (if that makes sense) to where it's a jaw-dropping, rich brown, but not JUST brown! Too indescribable for words, but SO AWESOME, and now I see how this stunning mica got it's name! I haven't tried it in CP yet, but I'm so excited to, and in clear MP it really IS far-out, trippy & totally groovy!
