Lollipop Mica Powder is a bold pink/purple color that works wonderfully in soaps. It is a lab created mica based on fluorphlogopite, a synthetic mica formulated to be exceptionally brilliant and bright. It is created to be identical to naturally occurring muscovite mica, yet superior in color intensity.
CP: Mix 1 part color with 1 part oil then add to soap.
MP: Mix mica in 91% rubbing alcohol then add to soap base.
HP: Add micas toward the end of the cook to retain the most color.
Avoid green and yellow oils. The whiter the base, the brighter the color! Gelling soap makes colors pop. Read our FAQ section for more info on using colors.
Bath Bombs (if safe for use): Use polysorbate 80 when using mica to color bath bombs. This will help disperse the color and prevent a powder ring around the tub.
Fluorphlogopite, titanium dioxide, tin oxide, manganese violet
Used this in CP & WOW is it VIBRANT & very aptly named! Definitely a candy-like pink! I used 1tsp/PPO & my results came out quite a bit darker than the pic shown above, but that could be my screen resolution too. I can't complain one little bit though, as the color I saw in the jar was the exact color I got in my soap! I love that about Nurture's micas! The colors are always consistent, and even if it's a color that temporarily morphs when first incorporated, it always goes back to the precise shade it should be once saponification is complete! This shade stays vibrantly true from start to finish & is simply stunning! I've been wishful-thinking for a more matte, pastel, cotton-candy or "ballet slippers" type of pink, and when I blended this mica with Nurture's "Winter White" mica, it was a lovely alternative, with a fuschia-ey/purple undertone that makes it so very unique & pretty! I absolutely recommend this playfully bright & versatile shade of pink... On it's own or blended with other micas, it's AWESOME in CP!
Lollipop Pink Mica
I really like it but it was more of a mauve than it was pink.
Beautiful and Bright
A little goes a long way. It’s a beautiful pink!
Love this color!
Great purplely pink color!
Lollipop crystal mica
Pink is one of my favorite colors. I use this mica and a lot of other ones from nurture soap and I love it and them. These colors stay unbelievely well, and are bright and vivid that they really pop in my soap! Love this one!
