Laurel Green mica is a soft green mica that holds true in cold process soap. This mica has a very high shimmer effect and is much more beautiful to the eye than can be captured in a picture! It will have a high shimmer in cold process, and will appear sparkly in clear melt and pour. This green is more pastel in tone than our other green micas.
Cold process soap: Mix in a bit of your soap making oils and then add this to your soap batch. See use rate below.
Melt and pour: Mix in a bit of rubbing alcohol, then add to your soap base. See use rate below
Hot process soap: Add toward the end of the cook for the most brilliant color. See use rate below
Liquid soap: Micas are not recommended for liquid soap as they will sink to the bottom and will not remain suspended.
Candles: Powdered colorants are not recommended as they may clog the wick. Try our dyes instead.
