Klein blue is the color of royalty. It is rich in hue and a darker blue than our other micas. This is a great blue to use if your soap oils have a darker yellow or green base because the blue is so rich it will make offsetting the color of the oils easier while still achieving a bright gorgeous blue. With clear oils, it is one of the most beautiful blues we have ever seen. Rich, deep, dark, and intense...This is Klein blue.
CP: Mix 1 part color with 1 part oil then add to soap.
MP: Mix mica in 91% rubbing alcohol then add to soap base.
HP: Add micas toward the end of the cook to retain the most color.
Avoid green and yellow oils. The whiter the base, the brighter the color! Gelling soap makes colors pop. Read our FAQ section for more info on using colors.
Bath Bombs (if safe for use): Use polysorbate 80 when using mica to color bath bombs. This will help disperse the color and prevent a powder ring around the tub.
I received my order from nurture soap. As always I was very pleased with the entire order. I used the Klein blue and I must say it's the prettiest blue I have ever used. It's a must have for me. I also enjoy the goodies that were included in my order.
I used this mica in a few batches of cp soap and was very pleased with the colour.Thank you Nurture Soap for another great product!! The little surprise that you send in every package make me super happy. Love the way you treat your customers!
Not what I expected but
This color is not what I expected but I used this in cold process soap and I'm definitely not mad about it. This came out like a denim blue in my finished soap.
So far so good!
Just made my 1st batch of soap using this Mica so far it's looking really good.
We'll see after it cures. It's a CP soap.
