Hollywood Pink Mica is a bright pink with deep purple undertones. This is the perfect pink to use when wanting to add some dramatic flair to your soaps. It is bold and bright and sure to catch the eye.
CP: Mix 1 part color with 1 part oil then add to soap.
MP: Mix mica in 91% rubbing alcohol then add to soap base.
HP: Add micas toward the end of the cook to retain the most color.
Avoid green and yellow oils. The whiter the base, the brighter the color! Gelling soap makes colors pop. Read our FAQ section for more info on using colors.
Bath Bombs (if safe for use): Use polysorbate 80 when using mica to color bath bombs. This will help disperse the color and prevent a powder ring around the tub.
Mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxide, manganese violet
Color does not disappoint. It's bright, it holds its Color well in Cold Process Soaps, Solid Condioner Bars. It's Also great for adding to other Colors to make a New Color Option
Hollywood Pink is fabulous in CP soap! I can either make it a dark fuchsia/pink, or add less to my batch for a lighter color. Bold beautiful, this is my favorite pink!
True bubblegum pink
When I first bought this pink I asked myself WHY I would buy yet another pink colored mica but this one is so pretty in soap and such a rich color that doesn't fade, mixed in very easily and a dream to work with. I have used it in shower jellies and cp soap and now a staple in my color repertoire.
