How did they do it?
I swear, this smells like your brain tells you a romance novel should smell. It smells just like a lightly perfumed book. It performs very well in soap and holds fantastically in CP soap. Well done!!!
It is a very soft & light scent after curing in the cold process soap. I prefer something a little stronger with more staying power & I did use quite a lot in my batch of soap, more than normal so was a little disappointed in this one.
Not a fan
Harlequin Romance is nice in the bottle. It is well behaved in CP. After the cure time it's just nothing special. Customers pick it up give it a smell and put it back. They don't choose any soap made with this fragrance. One little girl picked up a bar of soap made with Harlequin Romance fragrance oil and said that it smelled like her grandma's house. I trashed half of a 16 oz bottle.
Scent did not retain in the soap after 4 weeks of curing after using the recommended amount for strong. It's barely noticeable. Disappointed, since I made 5lbs of soap that may look pretty, but smells like nothing.
