Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

As with most green micas, this color may turn a darker brown or murky gray during saponification. Don't worry! If this happens, please wait up to 48 hours for the original green color to return in cold and hot process soaps. The color change will not occur in melt and pour soaps, due to these types of soap having a lower pH.

Green Mica

When mixing with oils, it looks teal green, but after a few days of my soap curing it has gotten a lot darker and now looks like the green I was going for. Used this in my rainbow soap and it looks great!
