Description

Fresh Cut Rose fragrance oil smells just like a bouquet of freshly cut roses complete with green leaf and stem notes. As with many rose scents, this fragrance will move fast. For best results, soap as cool as possible. We prefer soaping with room temperature oils and lye with this fragrance to prevent acceleration.

Prop 65: This product is not on the CA Prop 65 list of toxic chemicals.

Tested 6/18/18 in a recipe of 33% lye solution with 5% superfat at 80 degrees. Recipe is 35% olive, 35% organic and sustainable palm, 20% coconut, and 10% castor. Rapid acceleration. The soap got chunky as I was pouring in the mold, and the top looked like mashed potatoes. I was able to get it all in the mold, though! For a rose scent, this is by far not the worse I have tried. If soaping at very cool temperatures and full water and working FAST I think it might work. No time for swirls, etc.

• Acceleration in Cold Process: Yes
• Discoloration in Cold Process: No

Love this fragrance! It is close to the real thing, in my opinion. One of my go to's for cold process soap. It does accelerate while soaping.
