Coconut oil reigns supreme as a soap making oil. This oil will make a hard bar with lots of light fluffy bubbles. In bath and body care, this oil is known for its moisturizing properties.
Our coconut oil has a melting point of 76 degrees, meaning that it is hard if cooler than 76 degrees, and becomes liquid at higher temperatures. To melt our coconut oil, take the cap off the container and place in a warm water bath on the stove. Once warmed, it can be used in soap and many other types of bath and body care products.
Very happy with the amount of oil for the price. Not so happy with getting the oil out of the container. It is in a pour type bottle and solid and the entire bottle has to be melted down to pour, for each use. I am searching for a different container to hold the oil to make it more accessible.
76 coconut oil
The oil is great, shipping was fast and free!! My only complaint is the bottle the oil comes in. I had to melt it in boiling water and dump it into a reused bucket. The original container it came in is a really nice sturdy jug with a standard size capped pour spout. Great for anything but solid matter!
Whoes Idea to put solid coconut oil in a narrow opening container?
The coconut oil itself is perfectly acceptable as a product to use, but one has to either microwave or place the container in hot water to get the oil melted enough to get out of the jar. Poor design of container for sure! I have seen on soap pages that other's have the same opinion as myself.
