Description

Carrie, the owner of Nurture Soap, loves the Cheshire Cat. He is by far her favorite character from Alice in Wonderland. The Cheshire Cat reminds us that life is a myriad of juxtapositions.

This mica is purple in juxtaposition with red, created a deep violet hue that resembles the dark purple stripes of the Cheshire Cat. In soap, it becomes a deep brilliant purple that outshines almost all other purples. From its contrast comes a beautiful, bold purple clarity. Cheshire Cat is identical to our original Wisteria Purple mica (2013-2016).

Prop 65: Titanium dioxide (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size) is on the Proposition 65 list because it can cause cancer. Exposure to titanium dioxide may increase the risk of cancer. Once incorporated into a liquid or solid base it is no longer airborne and falls off the Prop 65 list.

• Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
• Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of oils.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.
