I made my first few batches of soap in some "standard" molds, which are 3" x 3" x 10.5". The early reviews included a request for a narrower, easier-to-grip bar width. That's when I discovered the tall skinny mold. I've used it a few times now and it produces the perfect width bars. The liner is 1/4" thick silicone--extremely sturdy--and I've also used the wood mold lined with freezer paper for a slightly wider bar just to change it up a bit. I already ordered a second tall skinny mold so I can make two loaves at once.
