I’ve used a ton of really red. It is a bright vibrant tomato red. But ... because it’s a pigment it doesn’t seem to dissolve as easily in oil as mica does. I add it to a few teaspoonful of oil and mix like crazy to be sure any tiny lumps are dissolved.
In soap it leaves a beautiful bright red. I sent off my soaps to customers but got comments back that people weren’t happy with all the red that was being left on washcloth, and the pink lather they were getting.
And - after keeping a bar of candy cane soap for my own use (I never get to try it - it always sells out!) - I see that it also bleeds pretty badly into the white soap. In future when I use it I would recommend keeping it as a very small portion of the entire bar of soap. I wouldn’t do another “dragons blood” completely red bar. Here’s photos of the candy cane soap. I have now bought some of the trial by fire red colour, and I also use My red obsession. I’m hoping that the Trial By Fire red can replace the Really Red.
I was hesitant to use this mica at first, but was pleasantly surprised with the finished color. I used this as an accent color in CP soap and because of the recent discussions i used a tad more in the batter. It is just a perfect pale pink hue that has me imagining this as a base color instead of an accent. This cp soap is winter white and purple vibrance and black raspberry vanilla fo.
This isn’t a bright tomato red - more of a reddish - burgundy colour. Not quite as dark as red wine - just a nice deep rich red. I love that this is a mica - so it dissolves into your oils easily. Unlike Really Red powder - which I also buy and use a lot - this doesn’t bleed into white soap that surrounds it. If you don’t gel your soap it can get a bit dark - almost a brick red - but most of the time it plays nice and leaves a gorgeous deep red. In the photo I’ve used it in the melt and pour embed, and also swirled into pink soap.
I use this glitter all the time! If a soap looks a little boring, a bit of this on top makes it suddenly look gorgeous. Use mixed with plain CP soap as a swirl in white soap for a beautiful elegant soap. Or mix with oil and drop a bit on top of your soap, then use a chopstick to gently swirl the top. Ive included a few photos where I swirled a bit of gold on the top of the soap.
I was super excited to get this fragrance. The reviews were great and the description sounded wonderful. Unfortunately I don't really care for it and my customers don't really seem to either.
This fragrance oil smells absolutely amazing! It works perfect in CP soap. Did not speed up trace or morph colors! Buy it now, you will not be sorry!!!
Smells amazing! Just like a BUBBLY Champagne. I love it. Worked beautifully in my hot and cold process soaps. :)
This is a wonderful scent. I know need to order so much more of it. Acted amazing in cp soap and the smell is strong so far.
I received this scent the other day and it is fantastic oob. I can not wait to try this wonderful scent!
I had several requests for Cherry Almond soaps and tried a couple others before finding this one. It’s perfect! Nice strong scent without being overwhelming.
I'm switching from TD as I'm tired of the struggle. Used this the first time yesterday and it is wonderful. Bright white that looks awesome when curing. Will keep this in stock!
This is a complex blend that is wonderful. I've not make soap with it yet but if the bottle smell is anything the soap will be amazing. Also fast shipping and great products here at Nurture Soap!
I am in awe of how these colors turned out. Such a perfect and true color! AND THE SPARKLES IN IT!!! I'm in love! I used this along with Neutral Grey and blended with Somali Soul! Easily going to be in our top 5!!
I am in awe of how these colors turned out. Such a perfect and true color. I used this grey along with Atomic Orange and blended with Somali Soul! Definitely ordering more because WOW!
I love the smell of this FO so much! It is the perfect choice for a beautiful caramel latte soap!! Once again Nurture does not disappoint!
I needed a pink glitter for to make 1,200 heart bath bombs POP and this was it!! It added the perfect amount of color & sparkle! This is one of those products that a little goes a loooooong way. This will be a staple in my business for sure!
I will never shop for my titanium dioxide anywhere else! This TD blends like a dream and leaves my soap with NO CLUMPS! Hallelujah! The pricing is great and the perforance makes this worth every penny.
I love this scent! It reminds me of a tropical drink!
not exactly what i was expecting based off of the photos provided. was expecting a mold a bit larger than what i saw. however, the quality of the liner is exceptional! well crafted mold! can’t wait to test it out & see if this really is a 12lb mold :)
A great virus scent with soft notes of spices. It’s perfect for my mechanics soap for the guys, but the ladies love it to!
I really enjoy this Oatmeal Milk & Honey! It has a little bit of an almond scent to it (as many oatmeal milk & honey fragrances do) and it works perfectly in both bath bombs and soaps. I'm so glad I bought two bottles :)
This fragrance is more sour and less sweet than some of the other orange scents I've worked with-- mouth-puckeringly sour and fruity! Good if you want to emphasize that orange zing.
Definitely looks an interesting brick pink in the packaging-- but watching the mica swirl into a fiery true red in my soap batter was incredibly satisfying! Soaps like a dream, and the color is absolutely a joy to behold. I was already ecstatic when Nurture came out with Really! Red Pigment-- but now, to have a color that won't bleed or migrate is a dream come true. Thank you Nurture soaps!!
