Description

INCI: Mica, titanium dioxide, iron oxide
Micron Size: 10-60

Cosmetic use:
• Eyes
• Lips
• Bath Bombs
• External Use

Ideal for:
• Soap
• Resin
• Crafts
• Lotion
• Butters
• Wax Melts
• Nail Polish

Prop 65: Titanium dioxide (airborne, unbound particles of respirable size) is on the Proposition 65 list because it can cause cancer. Exposure to titanium dioxide may increase the risk of cancer. Once incorporated into a liquid or solid base it is no longer airborne and falls off the Prop 65 list.

• Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
• Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of oils.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

Oleander is the softest blush of pink. This color WILL NOT WORK in any bases that are not very white. Any red or yellow tint from oils will completely wash out this color. Do not add titanium dioxide to whiten your base then use this color. The white from the TD will make it even more pastel.

To get the most from this delicate pink, use in clear melt & pour.

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Came back for more and it's all gone!

I love, love, love this mica. It's so versatile. I use it to color lotions/scrubs and for CP soap. For CP, I like mixing in a tiny bit of light pink mica (any will do) to take the shade just a bit deeper. I came back to buy a larger size and it's all gone! I hope it's not gone for good - that would be a travesty.
