Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Great Black

It's a great black, I went a little light on it thinking it would come out as dark as the black oynx. Both are great options.

A true black color

I prefer to use this over AC as a little of this will give a nice, dark black color. I don’t have to worry if it will cure into a grey color. This is my go to black!

Black black!

I love using this in place of Iron Oxide or Activated Charcoal. It’s the perfect black.
If I am low on this I will mix a tiny amount of black Iron oxide with it but it’s definitely never needed to obtain the color.
It’s better if you can gel (as you can see from picture the gel is darker)
