Totally surprised at how great this smells

I am not a fan of fruit scented soaps, but my brother in law asked for an apricot soap. Just made the soap yesterday and it's the most amazing scent! I colored the soap brown so I didn't worry about discoloration and the scent worked beautifully in the soap. I think I will be keeping this scent in stock at all times. I have so many ideas and plans for this scent.

Scent doesn’t stick in CP soap

Out of bottle this smells amazing! omg! i could smell it all day. Unfortunately the smell doesn’t stick after the cure for cold process soap. I used 5-6% and after a couple of months it seems unscented. This would probably be a great fragrance for melt and pour or a scrub!

Bloomed in use

I reviewed this FO earlier as faded during cure without ever actually using the cp bar soap (I had used a smaller samples). Well I started using the bar last week and the fragrance came through fantastic!! It's not super potent, but plenty noticeable and pleasant. So much so I want to make another batch right away. Note to self; stop treating bar soap like a candle. "Cold throw" is a candle term, and just because an FO has little "cold throw" doesn't mean it won't bloom in the shower. This one does just fine, and moves to the top of my personal fav list. I might try adding a little bit of a floral such as tuberose I have on hand, pushing more towards an apricot freesia, but even on it's own it's quite lovely. Thanks Nurture!!
