Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Grape purple shade

There is nothing called enough of purple shade. My berries themed soap is incomplete without this shade.

Lovely, vibrant purple

Jam band is a great purple if you want a bright vivid color without going too neon. Just a few notes: I do feel like I need to use a little more than my usual 1tsp per pound if I want to draw out all of the color, and the tone is less blue-hued than it looks in the CP example (on my computer monitor.)

Purple

I’m a purple person so this color always gives me the best feeling. And on soap, it’s the greatest color. In the picture, I just used 1 tsp and it still came out fantastic (well, to me it is. Hehe)
