  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1 teaspoon per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

Clay should be mixed with water before adding to cold process soap. Mixing well before adding to soap will help prevent clumps or streaks. Mix 1 part clay to 1 part water until fully saturated then add the mixture to your soap.

Perfect!

This clay is just the right shade of pink for a natural color! I used it is cold process soap and was so happy with the outcome! I use both micas and clays, this is perfect for my customers looking for a natural color option.

It's pink!

I'm learning that clays give my soaps a more natural look. I like it.

Great pink color with the benefits of clay

I use this clay to add the benefits of Brazilian clays to my rose and cherry blossom bath truffles. Makes my skin feel silky and a nice light pink color.

It’s ok

I used this as an experiment as I hadn’t worked with clays before. The color is a pretty light pink and it worked as expected.
For me personally, I just didn’t think I noticed the ‘feel’ that people talk about when adding clays to their soaps. For this reason alone, I probably won’t be ordering again as it just didn’t serve me well.
