Descripción

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Love this yellow!

This is the perfect yellow. I love it in cold process soap.

Perfect in between yellow and orange

This is the perfect deep yellow, slightly orangey. I used it as the #2 pencil wood color.

Nice opaque mustard yellow

Yellow micas can be tricky. Usually the maximum recommended amount and most of the time the resulting color is still soft. Not the case for Mimosa mica. This color is a nice opaque mustard yellow that falls somewhere between a true primary yellow and a gold tone. It holds its own even against black and white (a great combination!).
