You'll need to find a work around for the extreme discoloration, but once you do, you'll be enticed by the complex herby fragrance! I love this oil!!
Curiosity had me buying this and the soap turned out so pretty, no colorant added. It has been a few months & the color is fading but what a cool experiment!
I was a bit skeptical of this scent after plainly smelling it in the bottle. In CP soap, this scent develops beautifully. There's hints of lavender, thyme, and sandalwood mixed throughout and it presents as a gorgeous strong mix of herbs. Perfect for any gardeners in your life.
In terms of the discoloration, folks aren't wrong when they say - this is WHY we bought the fragrance. I'm guilty myself! I wanted to make sure the color stuck so I added in some Orchid Mica (Brambleberry) and Lavender Oxide (Brambleberry). The discoloration began within 1.5 hours of the saponification process and I made sure to force gel phase to get the brightest possible purple. It's currently sitting at a dark lavender that is GORGEOUS and I can't wait to see how the color develops more. 10/10
I have been using this FO for a few years and it still has a place in my top 10! At first I was put off by the intense discoloration, but have learned how to use to my advantage.
So freakin happy! This is exactly dirty from lush, I was hoping because it’s my favourite. Do not listen to the ones that say this is Bernie smelling it is hand down dirty!! Thank you soo much nurture soap!! I will be buying more once this is gone!!
