Tested 6/18/18 in a recipe of 33% lye solution with 5% superfat at 80 degrees. Recipe is 35% olive, 35% organic and sustainable palm, 20% coconut, and 10% castor. Rapid acceleration. The soap got chunky as I was pouring in the mold, and the top looked like mashed potatoes. I was able to get it all in the mold, though! For a rose scent, this is by far not the worse I have tried. If soaping at very cool temperatures and full water and working FAST I think it might work. No time for swirls, etc.

  • Acceleration in Cold Process: Yes

Full, dewy rose fragrance

There is nothing I don't like about this fragrance. It's a true rose with some greenery and a cold dewy scent that smells like a florist shop. Rose is my favorite fragrance and I'm picky about them. This one is the best of the dozen or so I've tried over the years. It does accelerate so have all your stuff ready to go. You're not going to have time to do anything fancy but you *will* have the best smelling soap. No discoloration or ricing.

The best rose scent.

The is my favorite rose scent. I've tried a few from different suppliers but I always come back to this one. It accelerates a little in Cold Process but nothing that you can't work with if you are prepared. I just made wax melts with it and it's delightful.

Definitely rose smell

When I open the bottle, it definitely smelled like fresh roses. I use this fragrance on a Shea, olive and coconut oil soap. The smell is strong and lil strange for me but it still smells like fresh roses, nothing wrong with it. It didn't accelerated bad on me though.

Great Realistic Rose Scent- Love the green notes!

I'm not a floral scent kind of person, but I got a lot of requests for a rose scented soap, and I finally decided to cave.
I love this one! It definitely has that strong rose fragrance, but the green "stem" notes really add something fresh and gardenlike so it doesn't smell too "old lady's perfume." Its less gaudy than florals mixed with musk, in my opinion. Everyone has their taste, but this one is to mine. The description is accurate that it smells like a bouquet of fresh roses INCLUDING THE STEM. My only gripe is that I wish there was a way to make a non accelerating floral... but you just have to be aware that florals are going to accelerate and work around it.

Fresh cut Roses 🌹

Just as the name implies this is a beautiful fragrance of fresh cut roses. It is a strong rose fragrance with a hint of the green stem scent coming thru. If you are using this oil for candles I would suggest cutting back on the percentage of oil used. It has a great CT and HT.
