Descripción

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of oils.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

As with most dark purples, this color can be a bit tricky in cold process soaps. At times you may get a rich amethyst color, and other times it may turn smoky gray. We suggest testing this in your recipe in making CP soap to see how it works for you. This color is stunning in melt and pour soap!

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Adds depth to darker colors

This Blackberry mica comes out as a REALLY DEEP purple, almost a black shade, in cold process soap. It seems to add a little something extra & is great to add depth to darker colors

Purchased Several Months Ago for Geode Bath Bombs

This is the color you need to make amethyst geode bath bombs! Purchased several months ago, but waited to make a review until I tried it in soap. They make my bath bombs look real and turn the soap a deep black (with a hint of purple).
