    Product description

Each cavity of our 22.5 pound triple premium soap mold holds 88.2 ounces (5.5 pounds) of oils. It has removable sides and clear lids for viewing soap as it gels. The lids limit contact with air during saponification reducing ash on soaps. This mold features food-grade silicone liners. They are made via a special molding process that results in silicone that will not tear or stretch over time like other types of silicone can.

This our NEW VERSION. The new 7.5 lb liner is .18" thick and considerably more heavy duty then our previous liner. This mold will not fit our older liners.

    Basic, Premium, or Handle Mold?

We are often asked about the difference between basic and premium molds.

    Basic Molds:

    • Have a wooden box to support the liner.
    • Have holes in the bottom of the wooden mold to push out the liner.
    • Do not have a lid.

    Premium Molds:

    • Have a wooden box to support the liner.
    • Have a clear lid to view soap as it gels and prevent soda ash.
    • Have grooves in the wooden mold box the lid slides into, creating a seal between the soap and outside air. This is the main method of preventing ash.
    • Have removable sides for easy removal of the liner.

    Handle Molds:

Handle molds come in basic and premium styles. They provide the ultimate ease of use when making soap. The lip of the liner surrounds the wood mold and keeps it clean. The handles on the liner allow for very easy removal from the mold.

However, the sides of the wooden mold box are not removable in the premium style, and the basic style does not have holes in the bottom of the box for removal. This is because you can simply lift up by handles and the liner pops right out! Another benefit of our handle molds is the silicone is thin yet sturdy, making soap a breeze to remove from the liner.

If you do not gel or cover your soaps, basic molds are best. They can be covered with cling wrap to prevent ash. If you prefer to gel your soaps and want more ease of use, premium molds are ideal. Handle molds offer the best of both worlds in premium and basic styles.

How to calculate the volume of a mold:

    1. L x W X H = ? X .4
    2. Example: 18 x 3.5 x 2.5 = 157.5 x .4 = 63 ounces of oils
    3. This is the maximum amount of oils that can be used with this size mold.
    4. Use any mold and calculate the max amount of oils the same way.

Great quality, but be ready to maneuver this big mold!!

Great quality mold by a great soap making company, but the only downside is that I've found this mold really very big to handle when you are making creative soaps. It's big to maneuver around when you want to do swirls, or whatever. So if you want to make a lot of creative batches at one time, you really just have to be ready to manhandle this beast. It's great for simple straight up batches. I plan to buy smaller single row molds for creative soaps.
I love the quality, and that you can take off the sides to get at the liners etc. And I LOVE the slides.

    Well made

This was the first large mold I had bought since starting soap making a few months ago. I was impressed with how well made it was, and the fact that the sides slide up and off for easy removal of the silicone mold. What I don’t like about it is that it’s really difficult to tamp 22 lbs of soap to get the air bubbles out! Also, the size of the bars of soap it makes are VERY large.
To make a more practical sized bar that fits into the hand I’m going to have to only fill it 3/4 full. Other than figuring out those glitches it works very well. The silicone liner is not flimsy at all and makes a nice loaf of soap.

    Thankful

I’m so happy I was able to get this mold. I have the double mold and when I saw that this one was back in stock I had to get it. I haven’t used it yet, but I’m sure I’m going to love it as much as I love the double. Soaping has been so much easier since I switched over to these molds!

    Excellent Product

In my initial search to find the best soap molds possible it didn't take me long to find Nurture Soap! It seemed like all of the soap companies I follow had these molds and I wanted in! I was out on the market for a standard sized bar of soap, but when I saw they were sold out I moved to this option. When they arrived I was surprised by the size (larger than your standard size bar), but it ended up working perfectly! The mold is made with excellent quality and these silicone molds are the best that I've purchased! They are heavy duty for sure and easy to clean. I usually put them in my dishwasher for easy cleanup and they have lost none of their durability! Since my initial purchase I've bought two more. You get what you pay for and these are definitely worth it.

The slab mold that isn't a slab.

So I'm kinda new at soap making. At the ripe-old-age of... well, kinda old, I discovered soapmaking and realized it would be a fun hobby that could also be a profitable cottage industry for my retirement years. After using a 3 lb mold to try out my recipes, I decided I wanted to move to a larger, slab mold. But if you use a slab mold, you also need a way to cut the slab into logs, and "log splitters" can be expensive. Then I found Nurture Soap's Triple Premium Mold and realized that with it I did not need a log splitter. So I ordered it, and am totally satisfied with my purchase! The plywood mold is well made using high-quality ply, and the silicon liners are durable and made to last. The two center plywood partitions and the exterior plywood slide out easily, making it easy to lift the loaves and silicon liners out. After pulling the liners away from the loaves and inverting them, the soap loaves slid easily out of the liners, ready to be sliced into bars.

So to summarize, I am totally satisfied with my purchase and know it was money well-spent.

    I highly recommend it!

    Happy Soaping!

I love my new mold, it saves me a lot of time by making 3 loaves at once, is easy to clean and the silicone liners make it so easy to unmold
