Laurel Green mica is a soft green mica that holds true in cold process soap. This mica has a very high shimmer effect and is much more beautiful to the eye than can be captured in a picture! It will have a high shimmer in cold process and will appear sparkly in clear melt and pour. This green is more pastel in tone than our other green micas.
CP: Mix 1 part color with 1 part oil then add to soap.
MP: Mix mica in 91% rubbing alcohol then add to soap base.
HP: Add micas toward the end of the cook to retain the most color.
Avoid green and yellow oils. The whiter the base, the brighter the color! Gelling soap makes colors pop. Read our FAQ section for more info on using colors.
Bath Bombs (if safe for use): Use polysorbate 80 when using mica to color bath bombs. This will help disperse the color and prevent a powder ring around the tub.
Hands down this is my absolute favorite & most used shade of green in CP! I CANNOT be without this color! At 1tsp/ppo, the results are soothingly stunning and true! This shade is so versatile & goes great with MANY different fragrances and accompanying colors! Use this mica alongside swirls of Nurture Soaps's "Summer Crush" mica & watch people's jaws drop! I'm terrible at remembering to leave reviews, but am doing so now only because I came back to get MORE! Cannot recommend this gorgeous color enough!! It's outstanding & beautifully dependable!
I tried this colour for a batch of cupcakes and I absolutely love it. Got it as part of the mica sample and will definitely be buying more. This makes a lovely green in cp soap.
Nutures mica are the best...I love this company so much.. Super fast delivery also.
Beautiful green colour.
Mica went a bluish green colour in soap batter but as the soap cured it turned into a really pretty soft green, exactly how I wanted it. Always love Nurture Soap mica's. Very fast postage to Australia too.
