Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

If using in bath bombs, add polysorbate 80 at half your oils. For example, if your oil = 3 teaspoons, use polysorbate at 1.5 teaspoons. This will help prevent a color ring around the tub.

Nice choice for a red-pink.

Although I have not used the product yet, I am pleased with my purchase. It is a bit darker in the jar than my computer screen indicated, but that is nothing out of the ordinary. Being the clumsy person I am, the spillage of this color looks good on my soft pink pajama top. It reminded me of my grandmother's old rouge. Hopefully I will get the energy to make some bath bombs with it this weekend.

I made my first cold process soap with this mica :)

Heartbreaker will always hold a special place in my heart because it was the mica that I used in my very first cold process soap :) The color came out as a very pretty shade of pink, and that helped me to ignore some of the overall flaws in my soap, like the air bubbles & bad cutting job that I did. So this mica is the one that was there when I started out with my love of soap making!
