Description

  • Use rate in cold & hot process soaps: 1-2 teaspoons per pound of oils.
  • Use rate in melt & pour soaps: .5 teaspoons per pound of base.

~ More or less can be added to achieve your desired color. These usage rates are recommended for no colored lather. ~

As with most green micas, this color may turn a darker brown or murky gray during saponification. Don't worry! If this happens, please wait up to 48 hours for the original green color to return in cold and hot process soaps. The color change will not occur in melt and pour soaps, due to these types of soap having a lower pH.

Cabin Fever Mica in Cold Process Soap

I love this color! I used to use Khaki Yellow Mica but NS had discontinued it. I picked Cabin Fever because I thought it might be a close replacement. I decided to email NS and ask what they thought a good replacement would be and they replied, very quickly, and said Cabin Fever. That's how good the photography is on NS examples! Unfortunately, I only bought a sample size... Now I have to order the 4oz size, LOL! Cabin Fever is a perfect replacement for Khaki Yellow! Nurture Soap is the best :)

Great Sage Green

I didn't think I would like this mica originally, but bought it on the hopes that it would work for a desert themed cp soap I was making, and I could not have been happier with it! It makes such a perfect sage green shade, and also mixes well with brown to make very earthy type greens. Has not morphed in my cp yet!

wow!

You really can't go wrong with any of Nurture Soap's micas. They work well in cp, are concentrated and make great mixers (try their color blender tool!) as well as holding their own. Highly recommend.
