There are differences in titanium dioxide from different sources. Our Titanium dioxide is 99.9% pure and food grade. Because of the superior quality, it performs better than any other TD we have tried.
Use a mini mixer to blend into a thick whipped cream consistency. If you don't have a mini mixer, stir the titanium dioxide with water (enough to completely disperse it) and mix well. TD must be mixed very well before adding to your soap to prevent speckling
To avoid glycerin rivers: Soap with a water discount and do not overheat your soaps! Soaps with full water are more prone to glycerin rivers than soaps made with less water. We prefer a 33% lye concentration.
This is by far the best TD I've found. It only disolves with water but I like that. I do find that it disolves best in warm to hot water and then thickens up. Also when you put it in your soap it will accelrate it. I don't mind the accelration because I no longer have TD chunks in my soap.
I am very happy with my purchase. I love micas from Nurture Soap.
I am very happy with my order. I received it quickly and I love the micas I've used so far.
Never had an issue with this product. Follow the directions to avoid glycerin rivers. Will always purchase my TD from Nurture Soap.
