Description

New Formula:  This fragrance was reformulated to accelerate less. It no longer accelerates trace or discolors! Tested 3/27/2020 with the Nurture Soap Making Blend in a 33% lye solution with 5% superfat at 76 degrees. Soaped wonderfully. No acceleration and perfect pour. Turned light orange immediately.

Old Formula: Tested 6/14/18 in a recipe of 33% lye solution with 5% superfat at 70 degrees. Recipe is 35% olive, 35% organic and sustainable palm, 20% coconut, and 10% castor. Big ol' soap on a stick. I couldn't even get this into the mold. I even tried to spoon it in. Nope. Not going to happen. I was able to get my stick blender out, so that was good! It turned the soap orange instantly.

  • Acceleration in Cold Process: No
  • Discoloration in Cold Process: No

Nice

This fragrance is a nice fall scent. No to much apple.

Country Apple from the 00s

This FO performed beautifully in a slow tracing recipe with no acceleration or discoloring. This scent really reminds me of an apple scent from Bath & Body Works that was super popular in the early 00s. I’m not a fan. I mixed this with some Comfort and Joy and it was fine. The other Nurture apple scent smells more like real apples to me.

Great

I mixed this with a woody scent for Halloween. Smelled amazing and the scent is strong. Kind of like an apple with a vetiver or peppercorn like note to get the “poision” note

Smells like red apples

Great fragrance for a Halloween/Fall soap. Fragrance holds while curing. And no fast acceleration.
