    Testing Notes

    Tested 6/28/18 in a recipe of 33% lye solution with 5% superfat at 75 degrees. Recipe is 35% olive, 35% organic and sustainable palm, 20% coconut, and 10% castor. No acceleration. Soaped perfectly.

    I was looking for a peach fragrance and although this is apricot, I think it really nails it. It kind of reminds me of peach rings (the candy). I made CP soap with it and it behaved well through the whole process. It still smells lovely as it's curing and makes the whole room smell nice. Will definitely buy again and try it with lotion.

    Creamy apricot, my customers love!

    My customers loved this one, but not a personal fave. I pick up on more of a creamy note than anything else honestly. OOB it smells like a fresh apricot though. -Likely better in a lotion rather than CP soap.

    This is one of my go-to's for. It's sweet, but not sickly sweet, so its enjoyed by both men and women. It beaves in cold process, and the fragrance sticks all the way through the cure

    Love this

    Juicy apricot transports me to a memory from my childhood instantly. It’s so fresh and sweet and crisp, I adore using the soap I made with it. It performed perfectly in CP. My one minor complaint/ comment on this, was (maybe it was just how it reacted to my recipe??) that it turned a slightly unsettling fleshy color when it cured. I will use some micas or colored clays in the future to avoid the color issue.
